Scraps are like jewels to me
I would rather have your scraps than your yardage
I like pulling similar colors and making something
Or slabbing then trimming to size
I had 4 blades of yellow but only two each of pink and green.
Springlike and it works
Heck I even combine them with shelf liner rubber and make jar openers
Any scrap that can be made into something useful is fun

I finally finished cutting up my 2 boxes of scraps and started some sewing late last night. Not that I don't have lots of other places to grab scraps and tame.
ReplyDeleteI love scraps and scrappy quilts. I actually have trouble cutting into larger fabric pieces--silly, but I keep thinking "..if I use it here, will I need it in the future?" Especially since the fabric companies keep moving new fabric and removing older ones so quickly...Love your red

You make great use of your scraps. I love to see what you come up with. I always hope to use up my scraps even though I doubt I'll be able to use them all, but I can try!
