This towel pile is not going down very fast

I really need to get them done

The blocks measure about 9 inches and I need them both sides and top and bottom to get to a lap size

Why does my camera flip it.  Grrrr

Anyway give me some ideas

Just get fab and make 9 inch borders?

Trim down white blocks to be narrower white

This brother is in the process of buying 5 acres and a home in Maine 

He is bear brother

These placemats are for him

All quilted and trimmed and ready for binding

Then I have to get pillow forms and make the 2 pillows

I also went to snapfish and saw they had a 70 percent off blankets

So for less than 25 I am getting a 75 dollar fleece blanket for his bed with a picture of him and a deer he got

He will be tickled

So got him one with 2 pics on it of him and his trophies

Weird creepy Halloween grass

Never had these before I got mulch

I baked for the freezer

These are pumpkin carrot pineapple muffins

Sooooo good

Easy peasy too

Dry carrot cake mix

Can pumpkin

Cup crushed pineapple drained 

No egg. No oil. Nothing else

The pumpkin and pineapple moisten the batter

Yum

Here are zuchinni muffins, banana breads and the pumpkin ones ready to freeze

The hardest part was not eating them as they waited to be cool enough to bag 

Are you prepping for winter?

Porch screenfixed.......check

Outside water shut off.........check

Baked goods in freezer.........check

A good start here 

Anyway 

Now if meat wasn't so expensive 

7 a lb for hamburg is absurd

Rich can only eat Rib eye as he chokes on less tender cuts

16 a lb........nope.     

And I may need to start walking to work

Gas is nuts!!!!!!

Good thing I work 10 min from home

Out of the day of play came this cutie

I panicked because I couldn't find my zipper container

But I found it

Note to self.......clean up this mess

Scraps outside and in

Once I cut the lining only a sliver left that got thrown in the trash

Feels good to use it up

Ok now what can I FINISH  LOL

 

One of these things is not like the others

There are now 7 of these but look closely

  

I sewed up all the cups

They make pocket mugrugs

See the pocket on the left side?

Great for hot cocoa packet or teabag

Or even a chocolate spoon

I sewed these little by little as I cut out the additional pieces

The cups were all sewn but look

What do you see?

The handle on this one is different 

And sideways. Grrrrr 

This is the right way

And the background on this doesn't let the cup shine

Hoping I can fix that when I quilt er up

Another ufo moved closer to a finish

Need batting and quilting next

Who knows where these may land

These pocket cup mugrugs are ready to quilt and bind

Not sure why I cut so many except that maybe I was using up that print fussycut????

But I like how they are looking

Darker backgrounds are fun 

This one let's the cup shine

This one I like too but fabric is close in value so the details don't show as well

I still like them 

Once more batting pieces are free I will quilt them up

That's how I roll 

I piece to clear scraps 

It waits to be born as a project

It waits for batting pieces to be available

Then sits for binding scraps or a loose jellyroll strip

Then BOOM! 

All done at once

It's a game I play with myself

Making my mind happy for  a finish
