If you buy layer cakes, what patterns do you use with them?
Do you use one of Jennys tutorials?
I dont like to buy novelty fabs but at the price I couldn't pass it up
Yes Jenny and I are good friends too!!! I have several layer cakes that I need to use. I have only made one quilt using a layer cake and it was a free Moda pattern Love Charm Quilt.

ReplyDeleteI h a few layer cakes and I usually cut them up, but am considering using them for backings on quilts as is..just big squares or big nine patches...I need to make backings...not fond of them hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteI've only used a layer cake to make a quilt using the Twister ruler. I think I had a posted about making a Christmas wreath using the mini Twister ruler. Your Christmas layer cake has some great fabrics!
