Cones

remember these?  Got the glass......got the glue

Can NOT for the life of me find a cone

Styrofoam ones are too flimsy.i need plastic or heavy cardboard......

Anyone have any 5 to 6 inch empty thread cones that are cone shaped?

Who knew that would be the hardest part to find for this craft.

Ughhhhhh

I ended up finding 3 bags of glass at one store and 4 at another.  Should be enough to do a couple if i can find cones

Any suggestions???

  1. How about making a paper maiche one to suit your purposes using a styrofoam as a form.

  4. I think I've only seen the styrofoam cones. I love Julierose's suggestion to use a roadwork cone!!! So funny!!

  5. Joanns, Hobby Lobby, Walmart, Target - all carry the heavy plastic and paper mache cones. The thread cones are not very big - 4.5" tall by 1.5" botton and 1" top.

  6. Did you find your cones? I have some from the cone yarns I use for my knitting machine. They are cardboard and about 6-7 inches tall.
