Remember this?
You had HOMEWORK
And dont tell me the dog ate it!
Remember? Last week? Cut out the parts?
Ok ok......i will assume you DID your homework and now we will get er done.
There are sections that make this easy.
Lets take the plate section at the bottom.
Pair the long 2.5 inch plate piece with two 2.5 squares of background fabric.
Sew the corner to corners taking care to make sure it goes the right way when opened.
Like this
Sew corner to corner. Then once we know it goes the right way we can trim it to quarter inch seam and iron open
Dunkin will make sure you are doin it right.
The next section is the handle.....
First sew the 1.5 x 3.5 together and putting the background to the right sew the top 1.5x2.5 piece
Then sew a 1.5 square on diagonal top right of the 2.5x3.5 handle piece
Trim and flip back making the top right corner.
Do the same bottom left with a 2.5x2.5 square
This makes the bottom of the handle
See?
Put them together like this
Now join this section to the left of your cup piece
And the 2.5x7.5 to the right of the cup
Join that to the plate section at tte bottom
Now your cup looks like this
I forgot to cut out my top piece duh......
Thats the 3.5x12.5 background piece.
The bottom if you like to float the cup is a 2.5x12.5
Basically at this point you can make the borders any size you want for your project
Need it 12.5? Add borders and trim to size
I think mine will become a huge mugrug
But.....maybe a potholder too
A bag would be cute too
Hope your cup runneth over and my directions were clear enough for you
Happy friday friends!!!!!
Cute. And it satisfied your squirrel addiction?
