Step one was make a tree
Embroidered or pieced or appliqued.....
Whatever pleases you
Make the tree.........
Step TWO......BORDER IT
Maybe you make a snowglobe around it
Easy enough to do. Round edges made with sew and flip corners
Base of brown for wood.......
Or border it with a simple frame of fabric
Or mini blocks like bearpaw.......bears in woods
Simple strings are good too
It's your quilt so go for it. Leave yourself enough fabric to be able to trim or add to for size each round
I hope to incorporate a tree in my present Butterfly block; I am still making the butterfly right now--embroidering is a slow sport hahaha hugs, Julierose
