Todays freebie is a gift for you...
Grab some yellow fabric scraps
All different kinds....
And a dresdan template
Or kite.....either will work
Cut out a bunch of dresdan blades
Depending on your template
Some are 20
Some are less
Sew the point to make pretty petals
Press
Sew them two by two
Until you complete the sunflower
I am going to press and then sew a backing face down turning through the center hole.
Then i can make a brown circle to cover the center
Voila......one pretty sunflower table topper for Fall
You can do with reds for Christmas poinsettia and yellow center
Or another flower color for Spring
Make 2 or 3 different sizes and layer for a different look
Are your dresdans smaller?
Make a runner with one on each end.
Show me your Fall toppers.
