Farming from table


See these beauties?
They need to be planted soon

When I was getting out my vidalias this one onion in back was sprouted
I bet you never have that happen right?

Well did u know you can plant it?
You slowly peel away each layer of onion until you get to the center of each sprout

Then make roots in water 
Plant in soil 

Out of this one Vidalia I should get 6
Not bad huh?

    I had no idea you could do that--I will definitely give it a try as we L O V E Vidalias!!
    FYI: i may also "bite the bullet" and start an Arboretum piece--so neat-- aaargh--almost cannot resist it hugs, Julierose

    Interesting. I ususally have them go squishy before the sprout.
