This is almost done i think. After i add wide borders it will be a good size i think.
I have 2 more blocks in the works
Then trim and sew them up
The borders will take longer with applique but thinking eleanor burns style applique may be the ticket.
They are wild looking with that old fabric stash. Mauves. Do they even make that color any more?
A fun little quilt
They might call mauve something else today. I see them as old barn reds, which I like to use rather than the brights. I should do something like this to use up those strings - two totes and going to a third - nope!
