Do you know what this is
It's HUGE like a long potato
And skin like a banana
It came in my 2 dollar Bag
So I peeled
And sliced it
And fried it
Here is the result
Whatever it is, it's yummy
I put olive oil in my pan
And a little cracked pepper on them
Am I right? Is it plantain?
This farmer is stumped lol
Gee, I really don't know--I've never seen those before; I always thought plantains were another name for bananas??? Glad they were good though...I think pan frying in olive oil makes anything taste good ;))) hugs Julierose
ReplyDeleteI think those are plantains, big ones, there are small ones too. I have had them a couple of times, they were fried in butter with brown sugar, oh so yummy.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's a plantain. I've never seen one so big though. Was it sweet? The smaller ones are typically sweet.
