Crazy busy here

i am gonna be busy

My brother got me a bushel of apples

I have been eating a lot of them. Yum

Now i need to make applesauce, apple jam,apple pie filling and put it up

Lots going on in my neck of the Woods 

Plumbing issues so tomorrow plumber coming.we already know we need a toilet replacement.now sink is leaking. Can you say ka ching ka ching goes the money???

Today dryer being delivered but it is torrential rain so not sure. Moved all out of the way so house is displaced

Fri hubs dr apt and meds need to be changed and filled

Next week meeting about park sale again with membership enrollment

Next week dr apt for approval for eye surgery

Surgery on 28th if all goes well. 

Sometimes it feels surreal. I need a secretary to help me keep it all straight sometimes.

I sewed this section wrong too

Lots of little parts and i made a tire for the tractor going left instead of right

I need to rip it out

Good thing a lot is salvageable 

I will need to redo the seat area and the right side of the tire

But i am lovin my tractor pillow start so far

Good thing I have tons of scraps huh

I was missing a section

Now i can do the steering wheel, 

Seat and large tire sections

I think there is a bird too

Trying to stay positive and thankful

Last year my hubs gave me a heart attack

I went to work with this beauty looking like this and came home to it flattened to the ground

I didnt speak to him for 2 weeks

He does NOTHING in the gardens so why???

He is lucky it came back

My tractor

My tractor is coming along 

But i already see a mess up

There is a blue hst at the end of the long piece near the tire that i missed

Good thing i can undo part of it and sew it then resew the row.

The next section will be more difficult as there is a bird on the seat and a larger tire

There is a steering wheel too

I like it so far

 

2020 is not fun

 2020 started with corona

My eye surgery didnt happen

Now they scheduled it again in proposed pandemic time

Who knows if it will happen or not

T hi s year i shelled out 2000 to fix my car, our plumber says we need a new toilet put in, our dryer died, and i am saving 3000 for eye surgery. Can it get better? Sure

We got a certified letter stating they are selling the park.  I googled the people who are buying it. They have all kinds of problems not solved and have complaints to better business bureau left and right

Do i want them as a landlord? No!

There is a meeting on sat with a company that helps residents own their communities. I am trying to let people know to show up. Some people dont want to do anything.  We need 51 percent of the park to sign a right of first refusal so we can stall the sale and check it out. Ugh

Now i may not have a place to live.  If the new owners say to move my house i cant in my state.no place to move it to. Its paid for. All my money is invested in it. 

If the new owners go way up on rent cause there is no rent control i cant afford it. The medical is already killing me.

My question is do you know anyone that bought their park as a community and are they glad they did? 

I think that every person at this park needs to check out what they have to say.but i know people don't like to get involved for fear of the unknown.

Lastly i ask you all to pray that we can get enough people interested in using our right of first refusal to buy time and see our options. I hate to not even be able to try. Q

Tractor background

I found a blue background for my sexy tractor

I think i am making a pillow

So far i love it.

 

A little here and there

The block i made will go with these.

When i feel like just making a block of something i sew it up and later will set into a quilt.

Maybe kitchen sink style

When i was trying to expand my skills

A lot came from this book

Different sizes

I like this one

It may be the next one i do with scraps

 

Saturday sewing

I sat and trimmed the hst and made a block

I have this to use up

All sizes of hst and trimmed many to 2.5 size

But

There were some larger ones I trimmed to 3 inch

And paired with a 1.5 center square and 1.5x3 inch white scraps 

And voila

A cute old fashioned block

It will go in my kitchen sink quilt probably

But it filled a need to sew

Today is car sticker day

Ugh

Hate it

But have to do it

Gotta get busy

On my list are these panels

I have 4 trucks 

And 4 tractors 

They come 2 and 2 but i was unsure if i wanted them all the same or not 

Want a set for me and one for baby brothers house

Here is the question....

Do i take 2 one tractor and one truck and make runners?

If i do that i can get FOUR runners

Hmmmm.  More gifts right?

Gotta work on those 

These baby bibs for 2nd set need i think 5 more  so gotta get busy

Hand work needs to he done on this and the second one needs to be quilted

If i do that, and make runners out of the ones above, that makes 6 runners total. I have 3 nieces  with houses and sister, sister in law and me for other three. Hmmm....

These need to be finished

Black hockey skates need to be made for runner

It may be a table runner kinda year

I cant buy the form's here for that

Score! I will use them on the couch but make my pillow covers for the seasons to switch out.

Nice gift idea for next year too

Will keep my eyes pealed for some deals during the year 

I am envisioning covers with overlapping flaps in back to clean easier

You see.....an enabler i will call Oh Colette for example

First she tempted me with a link to Tildas free pattern for a scrappy tractor quilt

So i was gonna be good

And downloaded it for LATER

But........

She then challenged me with a squirrel

And you know.......complimented me that the car came together quickly

And now what oh what project will i do next

and she got the kit

And my nails and hair look great

And I really should work on one maybe with her

You know.......buttering me up LOL

I think Tilda used like an eggplant kinda purple

I think it just needs to be dark and more solid than the tractor pieces.

The tractor sections are cut except the steering wheel and bird

Just need background for all and i will make the pillow

For my trees. I will start with them as i contemplate the car color 

Blue? Red? Tan like my dads old car?

Do you ever combine patterns? If i see something i like sizewise but maybe not the pattern itself i will combine them.

I like the way that pillow folds in back so i can wash the cover

Runner or placemats

Can i make these black like hockey skates

And make maybe a table runner

My grandsons on my sons side are all hockey fans

A cute table runner would be cute right?

Or should i make pillows?
