Found it and took apart the applique that i was putting on. I was trying to put cat o nine tails around and waves for water below the duck.
This started as a duck ufo block.they were blocks for a baby quilt but not enough so we each took one to make a round robin.
this was mine someone added geese.
2 people added plain borders lol......and i think i did the string piano key border.
One lady lost the block she was working on, another didnt want to do a border on each duck etc so the project fizzled out. There were 5 of us who were doing them.
I am thinking if i get this backed and quilted it can go in my giftbox and keep someones legs warm while watching tv. Like one of the residents here next Christmas. For the addresses i pull and surprise with a gift wrapped the week of Christmas. Many here have no one so its nice to be able to give them a smile and let them know they are loved

Found so many starts in this pigpen i call a sewing room. Gonna try and make something out of things I find. It may not be the original idea but it will be great to finish them up and see the world instead of living in a box
