Since my eye surgery my nurse has been busy around the clock 

Watching my every move 

Making sure i am ok

Good thing this "cat scan" is covered by my medical insurance

Care like this is expensive.

Oh no its snow

 

This is what happened overnight

2 inches of SNOW

SO kale soup is on the menu

This is early for snow in October 

Hope it doesn't mean a snowy year

I found this in my room

Not sure what i had in mind to make with it

Pretty Christmas plaids

And flannels

Now i need to find the pattern i was going to do so i can use them up

Stacked a few of these because no lifting or bending for a bit

If you dont hear from me I am recouperating

I wont be able to blog for a bit or read blogs or even use my phone

Last time he wanted 1 to 2 weeks no phone,tv or reading. Yikes

Doesnt leave much but sleep lol

Our park sale didnt go thru

The banks wouldnt loan us because of flood maps

The other guy has own finance co so he is set.

Sounds like a fishy deal somewhere to me

Am bumming. Hoping i dont have to move

They typically go up 10 percent on rent each year. i can't afford that

And she sent me home with 2 boxes of stuff

This will be fun to play for a mat for Dunks 

Got this as a joke gift for brothers

And found wreath supplies

I still have it

I try to put it out each Fall to say Hi to Mom

And feel her presence 

It comforts me

I also like to work off nervous energy

So i cut out a bunch of jar grippers to sew

And fabrics too

Sewed one....backwards

When i finally got it right

The bobbin ran out

2020 strikes again

 

I have been a bad blogger

I have been so bad at blogging 

Sorry for worrying anyone

I am fine just crazy busy

Our park is being sold and I am a street captain which means i have 35 homes i meet with every week with new info. Kinda like the town crier to keep all informed

They also made me captain of the 3 captains so i report what everyone accomplished too.

I do that after work till its dark as i cant see well from dusk on.....

But I also have eye surgery Wed

Soooooo. Water stocked up and stacked so i dont need to bend or lift

Fabric stocked for projects

Hair is cut and outta my eyes

I wont be able to wash it a bit

Ughhhhhhh

I usually wash it every day

Thinking of projects i may be able to work on as my buddy here says

QUILT

 

This guy is set up and ready even though i know he will be on my lap comforting me during my recouperation time

Mom you SURE we dont have any time to sew?

We finally got a gutter guy here to clean and fix the hanging gutter

Now to find someone to shut off my water to the outside faucets and we will just need to fix a screen tear to be winter ready

So much to do

So little time

Because i believe in the power of prayer, please pray that Wed all goes well with this eye surgery. I am hoping it turns out well.

My boss is travelling to Lebanon so i am nervous about returning to work as well

Ughhhh is 2020 over yet???

I need to make some of these

Mugrugs.i love them as tuck in gifts or stocking stuffers

They already have this toss game i gave them years past

She needs songbook or wreath or something in her hands 

Sugarplums dancing in his head

Gotta get cinnamon sticks at the dollar store and make more of these

Maybe if i make little progresses i can get a lot done by year end

 

Ufo city

This was a circle a day in i think 2016? 

That was on the web

Every day you sewed a circle to a square to represent  the day or mood

I put the backgrounds also the rainbow scrap month color just to make it fun

I think this  is Jan Feb and Mar

Then i realized it would be HUGE so i stopped

I think April is somewhere in rows on Orange backgrounds

I liked doing this so need to find a way to finish it

This is fun to use up my solids

And my scraps

I did my trunks 2 instead of 3

Probably not smart

But i would like this to become a top soon

Dreaming of quilt show days

So much fun

Even if i spend too much at the booths

And my 1.5 bin is overflowing 

So i need to finish these too

They finish at 5 i think.

I would like to get a few things ready to quilt and maybe this winter i will be able to get some done

I played today

After all day yesterday handing out flyers,  i played a little today

I grabbed hst and made the center

I grabbed strips and framed it

I am thinking it will make a cute mini quilt for my sewing room medallion style

I have tons of hst to trim and use

Also could turn on point with triangles too

It felt good to sew

Even if only a little bit

 

All is ok

 I have not blogged but all is ok.just no time

Winding down the year

These temps have dipped to 57 during the day

Brrrrrrr

A lady grey tea kinda day for sure

It is rainy here and dreary and raw

A good day to stay in bed all warm and snuggly. Lol

But work calls.  Ughhhh

The last of these have been picked

Even the green ones

They will ripen on the counter 

Not the best tasting that way but i worked hard raising them and not gonna lose them to frost 

Thinking of my tractors 

And what I will make

These are adorable placemats but i didnt buy the coordinating plaid to border and back

I know i dont have yardage in stash so they go to the back of the line

Busy with paperwork here 

For park distribution.......i am a street captain

For my eye operation in a couple weeks

Catching up bills to be done when i cant see for a bit

I did however get more canning done on the long weekend

Pineapple preserves and blapple or blueberry apple 

Yum

If i can manage some salsa and relish soon i will be thankful as those things we use a lot 

Orange marmalade was on the list but seems tedious to me

Maybe my heart isnt in it this year

Cant wait till i can sew a little again 

Its bobbin winding time and cleaning machines time before the holiday sewing frenzy

 

Columbus day

 

I did this at the car garage while waiting

A transformer blew while they were working on cars and no generator

Ughhhh

This dishcloth is mine from the end tails of other yarn....waste not want not

It will still work doing the dishes right?

Anywho, today is Columbus Day
