Seeing double

This is my Dunks chilling as I talk to him about quilt designs

Anywho.....4 more daily blocks were made 

And one set is twins

I am thinking they wont show too much if far enough apart

We will see once the 30 are done

Was a beautiful weekend here

I masked up and bought shades for the screenroom

That way the grill will be ready and covered and the screenroom dining area will be ready too

Not a ton of sewing going on but a ton of getting ready for summer

Then got aggravated and decided to do a little straightening up

Someone decided it looked comfy.

Not sure if I  need to start worrying about light and dark blocks

This is most  of them side by side 

I like the secondary pattern of the corners 

But was worried if i could find the right light dark combinations to make it work

So pulled fab for sashing like in the pattern 

I like this too as it stretches the 30 blocks into the size i want i think

Ok ok for you perfectionists

Dunkin told me i had to move those darks around to balance better 

See? Even with sash i think i will have a light dark issue. Ugh

I am using what i have and until places open up it takes FOREVER to get a shipment

Remember these pocket quilts?

Yeah apr 18. Ordered crosses for middles 

Just came and they are WAY smaller than i wanted

Was these and then crosses about 2 inches 

Ugh

Will use them i guess but wish i could just go buy what I want already.

Gray sashing

For my couch

We will see later how sashing looks

Working 9 to 5

Trying to move some quilts to the flimsy stage around here

Chandelier is coming along nicely

This cleanup quilt is freeing up space 

In the string bin

This one is using up some old stash

This was just for fun but now hoping

It will soon reside on the couch

And these are waiting patiently

For crosses ordered online eeons ago.

Anyone else forget what they ordered because its been months and still hasn't arrived?

Quarantine quilt

I decided to lay out my quarantine quilt to see what i need to pull for fabric next 

I am doing scrappy so the next 8 block set says blues

I am going to use some deeper shades I think

See that pink block next to Dunkins tail?

The next block goes on either side of those 2 pink blocks

I didnt lay the whole quilt out but just one side to see A how it looks. B see the size and C Try and determine my fabric pics for block 8

It involves lots of flying geese 

8 blocks of block 8

They will take a bit to make.
