How about an easy free recipe

Here is the deal.....

Post a recipe on your blog and come here and comment that you have  so I can put your name in the hat for some fat quarters.

People without a blog can email me their recipe and I will enter them

So we all get to try something delicious and one person will get free fabric

Here is mine....

I am thinking of the holidays but they are good ANY time

You take crackers such as Ritz

Make a sandwich with 2 crackers and peanutbutter. You could add marshmallow fluff too and jelly.......your preference

Then you melt chocolate for candy dipping and dip to cover the whole cracker

While wet sprinkle with colored sugars or jimmies or sprinkles

For those not in this area.  Marshmallow fluff is a spreadable marshmallow topping. Its yummy 

Especially with peanut butter 

An easy delicious addition to any cookie plate

Or a special after school treat because today was Math test day

I have wedding to do and eye surgery in probably November

There goes the rest of my Christmas crafting for sure

I was walking and saw a huge praying mantis on my plant

I thought i heard him making noise so bent down a little to take his picture 

He was eating a bee!

Maybe the noise was the bee pleading to live

Anywho........

I think my blog should be solemn today in honor of his life

And YOU thought it was HUMP DAY!

Playing again

I played a little in the sewing room with my pineapple

It can be a mugrug

Or a small quilt for my room

Hmmmm

Found these little scrappies for the back

She is quilted up

And ready for some binding

This day of cleanup play yielded

Tiny 4 inch blocks

I joined them and added pieces 

To make a front and back

These too are quilted and waiting for batting

For another day I will cut bindings and sew them on

Two more little projects

Almost done.

I have a lot of housework to catch up on

With all the work from the shower,  things got behind

My temporary goals right now......

1 walk every day to get some energy

2 catch up on Fall cleaning chores 

3 take advantage of good weather and maybe get my steps painted

4 finish up table runners and placemats and see where I stand for Christmas 

Why does my life often consist of watching paint dry?  Lol

Monday Monday

Why is it Mondays arrive so fast?

I mean its Friday then BAM

MONDAY AGAIN

UGHHHHH

all I could muster up this weekend was pulling fabric backs for the fox mugrugs

Do you think these bears would be ok?

Or should i grab another green that reads like a solid?

As I ponder in the fabric bins I am grabbing small pieces and making 3.5

1.5 squares and putting  them in their perspective containers for a playdate later

Guess i better wind bobbins too

I went thru 21 of them in no time

I bought these online

How cool are these socks?

Anything fun going on in  your sewing room?

Shower is done

My niece and I ended up the only 2 that could set up so we hustled

Tablecloths were put o 

Pumpkins were placed and tables reset

Here is one of the younger neices and me

Love my girls to pieces

They will be my git up partners at the wedding

The neice on left is brides sis and my setup partner in crime

Poor thing has had to work double shifts and still get things done

The bride and one of grooms sisters who is a bridesmaid

Hmmmm.  Let me look at this setup you gals did........

The favors came out awesome

The cake was red velvet and was delicious 

Wow. ..... you girls thought of everything

Good job. Loved the games.

But just cause I am young and cute doesnt mean I like balloons

The grooms mom made them a money cake

So so cool

Before the guests arrived 

Shower is done

Now onto the wedding prep. 

We had a ball and the grooms family that sat at our table is as nutty as we are.

We exchanged numbers  and cant wait till November 2!!!!!!

Little does he know

This guy is tough to take to the vet.

He hyperventilates and looks like he will have a heart attack. I feel so bad

Now he doesnt have Phoebe to go with him either.

Guess when hubs made the appointment?

Yep

Today 

Day of the shower so i cant go and calm him down

I will be nervous all day for him.poor baby 

He hasnt connected the carrier and vet yet.

Just chillin Mom......

Hope Rich can handle him with no escapes
