Cooler mornings

It's been cooler here in the mornings

I have not put the heat on

This guy was all snuggled in his blanket the other day

Then got hot and just laid on top

My little munchkin

I need to cut and sew up more then put them out so I can see how it's coming

I only seem to have 36 blocks

I figure I need about 10 across by 9 down maybe

I have a ways to go

I thought I had more but who knows

Maybe they are mingling with my stash

Ha ha

 

Dog quilt

This is a new project

A friend's sister got a yorkie puppy. She wanted to gift her with a little quilt

I had these in the stash

So added a border of 2.5 squares

In colors similar 

I like it but it needs another border

Am thinking black with cornerstones

How cute is this flannel for a backing

I am hoping for a finish soon

Almost a finish

I am sewing binding FINALLY on this couch quilt

Yep a quilt for ME

it was a snowball quilt I had started after Julierose had started one

Not sure if a Pat Sloan quilt along or what

But I took my blues and made the snowballs

Paired then with white and made a small couch quilt

My new curtains are a navy color so it will look nice

Trying to get things together for the holidays

A woman's work is never done, right?????

 

All i want for christmas

This was a wreath brother gave me one year

This was Dunks dreaming of a white Christmas

He was so good

For a bit anyway until he figured out how much fun it is to batt the ornaments 

Last year's gorgeous wreath from brother

The white doves now I know we're an angel sign saying they were coming for Richard

I believe the doves represented Jackie who passed in Feb and Rich in Dec same year

I need to find border and backing for this to finish it

I want to give it to my friend as a hostess gift for Thanksgiving

I still need to make one of these

I just love it

And it represents Richs love of the beach

I know it's still Sept but Christmas is really just around the corner

The days here already feel like October November weather

And I am hosting Christmas for 6 neighbors who would be alone like me 

Hopefully we can have s great day
