Spitting nickels. Found a charm pack and one day played.

Sewed 2x2. Then 4 x4 until i had a cute top for a toddler

Now to quilt and bind. Love quick projects 

And no the 2 white and 2 peach together dont bother me.

So i pulled scraps.....and sewed 4 of them

In a jiffy 

Fabric is 3.5 x 9.5 so great scrap project

One piece.sewed into a tube.turned.

End flipped inside. Loop end over keying 

.fold other side up and stitch ends.

Done

Arent they cute?

And i finished this guy too

Forgot to show you

My friend Julierose gave me a diversion for life's crazies

And i had scraps

And it looked like fun

And July 4th was coming up

And hubs loves anything flags

Then i didnt have backing that would work so Julie to the rescue again

I made 2 placemats and backed with the beautiful flag fabric she sent

In my defense these have multiple uses

I never come first so a nice change

Our 4th was a very rainy cold 3 day weekend

So no cooking out but we made the best of it

 

A little Christmas

Some Christmas scraps i couldnt cut up so i made a mugrug top

And starting on some felt ornaments too
