Almost a bloom

I can see a little color

Exciting

I staked this baby

With the only thing I could find 

Knitting needle and string scrap lol

Not pretty but does the trick

And the second one is not far behind

So excited to see them grow and spread a little color in a gloomy world

 

Handwork to pass the time

Remember this little wall hanging size quilt 

Well when one is laid up and bored......

A little handwork can help

I need practice on my stitches but it will do

I started with the squares in the border as I contemplate how to quilt the center

That ripple is just the way it is sitting

So far the border is about one third done 

When it rains it pours

These have been a comfort

I haven't had cookies in the house in forever 

Sun when I put out trash I think I twisted something

I have been out of work all week 

I thought it was kidney stones at first

But the pain is still in back only and not Radiating to sides and front

And no trouble going as I was drinking gallons of water

But......my lower back prevents me from walking right and sitting and standing are difficult

This is my physical therapist

Making sure I am walking and stretching to help

Then because I am not having enough fun my front car tire drivers side was flat

AAA to the rescue but my spare donut could use air too so have to get it to garage somehow

Gotta get better quick

Today is one month my Richard is gone

I miss him and Dunks does too

Praying my water faucet eyes stay dry in public today

It is in a box to finish up later but I at least moved it along

So exciting

It's like having a baby around here

I coddle and nurture these every day

And are amazed at how much they grow 

FINALLY the paperwhites are popping up

Hope they shoot more this week

Such a fun diversion

I am doing the happy dance

A little knitting each night helped to get it done 

Great niece got a doll for her first birthday 

And needs a blanket for her

A quick crochet and scrap yarn fit the bill 

Two little projects done

Now who is gonna help with the dishes???

More diversions

This guy distracts me from life and puts a smile on my face

He knows when I am feeling down and will make me laugh

I needed thread so stocked up. Next will be zippers
